After graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire in 1996 Tim went straight into composing and musically directing the children’s BBC TV series Playdays.

Over the past 25 years Tim has worked on many productions across the UK and always been a vocal coach stemming from his years musically directing productions.

​

Most years you can find Tim being involved in pantomimes and over the years has been involved in productions at The Belgrade Theatre, Kilmarnock Palace Theatre, Loughborough Town Hall, Blackfriars’ Theatre (Boston) and most recently in 2022 The Spa Centre (for the fourth time). He has also released a series of Pantomime Sound Effects recordings in collaboration with producer/composer Steve Vent.

One of Tim’s songs, Somewhere, was chosen by Theatretrain to be their 25th anniversary celebration song, which involved a single being released and the song performed by a cast of 3000 at The Royal Albert Hall.

For the past 8 years Tim has been working on the project The Accompanist for which he has created 14 albums of Musical Theatre Piano Accompaniments, where Tim has recorded versions of Musicals songs as one might hear them in a audition situation, which have been released worldwide. He has also developed a successful YouTube channel for the project which boasts 20,000+ subscribers.
